Privacy policy

KPD Events LTD, trading as ARK Events, is the data controller for information you give us through this site.

What we collect

When you book, enquire or contact us: your name, email, phone number, event details (date, venue, guest numbers, tradition and days for the wedding planner) and anything you type into a message box. Payment details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout and never touch this site.

Where it goes

Your booking or enquiry is stored securely in our booking system (hosted by Cloudflare) so we can manage it, and a copy is emailed to our booking inbox by a form-handling service (Web3Forms). If you pay a deposit, Stripe emails you a receipt. Your booking details are shared with the performer we match to you, so they can deliver it. Stripe processes your deposit and holds your payment data under its own privacy policy.

Why we use it

To fulfil your booking or answer your enquiry (contract), and to keep records for accounting (legal obligation). We don't send marketing emails unless you've asked for them.

How long we keep it

Booking records for six years for accounting. Enquiries that don't become bookings for 12 months.

On your device

Your shortlist and an in-progress booking are held in your browser for the current visit only and cleared when you close the tab. We don't use tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it or delete it, at {{ email }}. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you're not happy with how we've handled it.
