How it works
Three steps, one point of contact.
Pick your act and date.
Choose what you want and tell us where and when.
Pay a deposit to confirm.
That secures the date and covers our fee — there's nothing else to pay us.
We match you with the performer.
We confirm who's coming and put you in touch. You settle the balance with them on the day.
Questions people ask
Am I booking a specific performer?
You're booking the act — a dhol player, a wedding DJ, a vocalist. Once your deposit is in we match you with the right person from our network for your date and venue, and confirm exactly who's coming well before the day.
Why do it that way?
Because the right act depends on your room, your guests and your budget. Matching after we know the details gets you a better fit than picking a name off a list.
How does payment work?
You pay a deposit online to secure the date (£150, shown on every act). That deposit is our fee — there's nothing else to pay us. The balance shown at booking goes directly to your performer on the day.
Is travel included?
Yes, anywhere in Yorkshire and Lancashire. Further afield we'll quote travel separately before you pay anything.
What if you can't find anyone for my date?
Your deposit is refunded in full. We'll tell you quickly if it's not going to work.
Can I cancel?
Cancel more than 30 days before your event and we'll refund your deposit less a £25 admin fee. Within 30 days the deposit is non-refundable, because your performer has held the date.
What areas do you cover?
Yorkshire and Lancashire as standard. Further afield is possible — just ask.
How far in advance should I book?
The earlier the better for Saturdays in June, July and August. But we've filled gaps at short notice plenty of times, so it's always worth asking.
Are the acts insured and checked?
Yes — our performers carry public liability insurance and PAT-test their equipment. Ask us for the certificate if your venue needs it.
Still not sure? Ask us.
